Attorney Kellie R. Bertels has been practicing in Jefferson City, Missouri, and the surrounding areas since 2002. Kellie earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri, graduating summa cum laude. Thereafter, she graduated with her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in Columbia, Missouri, and was admitted to practice law in the State of Missouri in April, 2002.
Kellie began her practice in a law firm in Jefferson City, Missouri. She became a member and partner of Bandré Hunt & Snider, LLC, in 2006. Kellie is a member of The Missouri Bar and Cole County Bar, as well as the Western District of U. S. District Court. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and was named one of the Top Attorneys in North America by the Who’s Who Directories in 2016. The News Tribune JCMO Choice Awards selected her as first place attorney in 2015, and she received honorable mention as an attorney by the News Tribune Readers’ Choice in 2016. Additionally, she was named a finalist in the 2022 News Tribune Readers’ Choice as Best Family Law Attorney and the 2023 Jefferson City Reader’s Choice Winner for Best Family Law Attorney. Kellie is also a member of the Mid-Missouri Women Lawyers’ Association. She received Second Place in Jefferson City Magazine’s Best Lawyer category for 2024 and was just named a finalist in the following categories for the 2024 News Tribune Readers’ Choice Awards; Best Attorney, Best Estate Planning Attorney, and Best Family Law Attorney. She has two children and is actively involved in the community within which she resides.
